Introducing: The Japanese experience 2020

A timeless country where ancient traditions meet modern culture in the most natural way possible, Japan is not to be toyed with and joining this experience will show you how. Japan is a leading cultural haven with technology that is a hundred years ahead of the rest of the world and I am really excited to share this experience with you.

A taste of Tokyo and Kyoto

Our Japanese experience will be a fusion of Tokyo (modern Japanese) and Kyoto (traditional Japanese) for a complete picture of what the country is all about. We will spend three days in Tokyo, the electric city and then move over to Kyoto, an absolutely stunning and laidback cultural city.

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

TOKYO: We’ll visit temples, watch a sumo wrestling game, visit the digital art museum, cross the world’s largest intersection Shibuya (of course!), gaze at the Tokyo Tower (we have the best view from our hotel, afterall!) and of course, eat lots of sushi.

KYOTO: Things will get really interesting as we move on over to Kyoto. You see, Kyoto is very special and this is the gateway to see traditional Japan. We’ll rent kimonos and walk the streets of Kyoto, we’ll attend a Japanese tea ceremony and we’ll see all the famous sites such as Fushimi Inari, Kinkaku-ji and Gion district.

Where we’ll be staying in Japan

Where you stay on your travels is absolutely important so for Japan, I’ve stuck to quality, finesse and comfort with hotels that are sure to leave you looking forward to getting back home.

TOKYO: A hotel with a stunning view of the tokyo tower

This hotel is beautiful! Not only is it centrally located and just a few minutes away from the sensoji-temple, it also offers a much coveted view of the tokyo skyline topped with a beautiful terrace and a classic french restaurant. What’s not to love?

KYOTO: A traditional Japanese hotel with a modern twist

Traditional meets modern in this classic Japanese hotel. The minimalist and wooden finish of the hotel is very appealing but it’s its access and practicality of being close to the metro station that completely wins me over.
