It’s a holiday today and I spent a small part of my morning writing about my Jordan travels. Hoping I can get it up on the blog this weekend. Writing about an experience is such a great way to reminisce and allow the memories live on for a long time.

How do you like to document your travel experiences? Photos? Journaling? Or both?

Hope you’re having a lovely day. ❤️

world not just from history or guidebooks but by going out there to see it for yourself.

I had a great time learning about Jordan from an experience with @viatortravel and seeing just how much we are all connected in more ways than we know. Jordan has a strong Roman influence and is also separated from Palestine by the River Jordan.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Jordan’s capital city, Amman and it taught me so much about Jordan and its surrounding countries.

Experience booked on @viatortravel. You can use my code ‘Ufuoma15’ to get 15% off any Viator experience! #ExploreWithViator #ViatorTravel #ad

Are you into history when you travel? Or just can’t be bothered by it? Let me know in the comments.

1.) Getting good at financial preparation (aka getting your ducks in a row, financially)
2.) Getting very v good at travel planning

COMING THIS WEEK: My last travel workshop of the year. Yes, I won't be taking any more live travel classes all year as I shift focus on other projects and responsibilities (side-eye @gojolley.)

Date: April 17
Time: 1:00PM EST (New York/Toronto), 6PM London, 6PM Lagos
Where: Live on Zoom (Virtual!)
Cost: Early bird until April 14 or as seats remain available ($75), Regular ($100)
Will there be a replay if I can't make it? YES. Lifetime access to the replay as well.

DM me 'workshop' if you have any questions.

Desert tones. 🐪 Who else plans their outfits t Desert tones. 🐪
Who else plans their outfits to match their destination? I definitely do. When planning a trip, I like to envision how I would fit in that environment and a good way to do so is by intentionally picking what to wear so it compliments the destination. It also does well for photographs.

I also love doing this to pack more efficiently. By knowing exactly what I’m wearing everyday, I don’t have to play the guessing game and only pack what I know I’ll get to wear with two or three extras. As a recovering chronic overpacker, this has saved me a lot of time.

By packing only a carry on when I can, I also save tons of money every year on checked in luggage fees, save time waiting at baggage claims and can enjoy my destination sooner.

So what team are you? Team plan your travel outfits or team go with the flow.
At the incredible Dead Sea, Jordan. 📍How beauti At the incredible Dead Sea, Jordan. 📍How beautiful is this place? Far from dead, it is. Vibrant and full of color, this wasn’t what I expected but it completely blew my mind.

The Dead Sea is the lowest place on earth and a must-visit place when in Jordan. Venture north and you’ll find these little turquoise blue gems of sea salt water around town. It will take a hike down but it will be worth it.

What I’m standing on is not sand, but it’s all salt.

This was my last Jordan experience and it was the nice icing on the cake of what was an unforgettable 7-day adventure.

Check out my stories (or highlights if you catch it late) for a day at the Dead Sea.

For seven days, we immersed ourselves in the culture, landscape, people, food and made the most of our time together. After the trip, I received some of the warmest messages from these ladies telling me how much they felt inspired after the trip with some of them thanking me for following my passion for travel.

This is exactly why I created @gojolley – to take you places, inspire confidence in you to see the world and help you fall in love with this big, beautiful world again. To bring back the joy in travel.

Jordan was a dream and I’m looking forward to creating these lanes, helping you reach your travel goals and seeing the world with fresh new eyes. We have lots of exciting destinations coming up this year and I simply cannot wait!

Who’s in need of a different kind of experience? Something different from what you’re used to but you know you’ll be very inspired by. I know I’m always down for that.

Couldn’t pick one photo today so let me know in the comments which photo is your favorite. Hope you’re having a lovely day. 🤍
